Terms and Conditions

It is assumed that customers have read, understood and agreed to the listed conditions of hire or purchase. Ticking the agree box or making payment of a deposit or balance in full is deemed as acceptance.

Costume Hire 

1)           YOU MUST BE 18 years OR OVER TO MAKE A BOOKING.

2)           All costumes remain the property of "Taylor Made events and costumes".

3)           The costume deposit that was paid at time of booking will be refunded on return of costume 

4)           The named hirer has the sole responsibility for the costume until the costume is returned to the agree collection/ return address.

5)           Costumes cannot be changed once they have been collected/ delivered.

6)           Customers should check their costume thoroughly and advise us of any damage, marks, or items missing at point of collection 

7)           Customers wear Costumes, Props, Frocks boots & shoes at their own risk and are hired as seen.

8)           Costumes must be returned on the day specified on the hire agreement. Failure to do so will result in a £40 per day surcharge.

9)      Customers must not wash costumes or tumble dry any wet items.

10)      Customers must not attach sticky labels or badges to any part of the costume.

11)      Customers must not pin, sew, glue or iron any costume that is hired.

12)      Your deposit will not be refunded if;

 

a                    The Costume(s) are not returned on day specified above

b                    A costume is returned beyond reasonable repair

c                     once a costume has been booked, this includes cancellation of the function, for whatever reason

d                    The costume is returned needing specialised cleaning

e                     The costume is returned with permanent damage, i.e. cigarette burns

f                     The costume is returned with one or more items missing

g                    Any modifications have been carried out on the costume

h                    The costume is returned with blood (or other body fluids)

i                      The costume is not returned to Taylor Made events for whatever reason

Party and Wedding Hire

1)  All bookings require a minimum 50% of total cost to be paid upfront to confirm booking date.

2)  Remaining balances must be paid no later than 1 week before your event. 

3)  If total balance is not paid or later than agreed we reserve the right to cancel your booking without notice and booking fee will not be refunded 

4)  No booking is secure until the booking fee has been received.

5)  If your booking is altered after the deposit has been paid your deposits will not be refunded but can be reused for other services at the managements discretion and where a service has been reserved for a client  but later cancelled a £30 per service cancellation charge is applicable from the deposit already paid 

6) Some items will be subject to a security deposit this is refunded when the items specified in the same state they were hired in Deposits will not be refunded either fully or in part if;

a                    The Item(s) are not returned or available for collection on the date and time agreed

b                    An Item(s) is returned beyond reasonable repair

c                    Once the item(s) has been booked, this includes cancellation of the function, for whatever reason

d                    The Item(s) are returned needing specialised cleaning

e                     The Item(s) are returned with permanent damage, i.e. cigarette burns, broken features

f                     The Item is returned with one or more items missing

g                    Any modifications have been carried out on the item

h                    The Item is returned with blood (or other body fluids)

I                      The Item is not returned to Taylor Made events for whatever reason

 

7) If for any reason your event date needed to change we will happily move your booking with us too subject to availability, we would require 1 weeks notice or additional charges are applicable for any items that needs to be purchased again for your new date (Doughnuts, sweets etc)

8) All Dates and times should be confirmed for delivery collection etc 1 week before your event date 

9) We do have a standard pricing structure, these prices are subject to change and discount packages can be offered at the managements discretion 

Balloon Orders

1)  All bookings require a minimum 50% of total cost to be paid upfront to confirm order.

2)  Remaining balances must be paid no later than 1 week before date required. 

3)  If total balance is not paid later than agreed we reserve the right to cancel your booking without notice and booking fee will not be refunded 

4)  No booking is secure until the booking fee has been received.

5)  All Personalised items are required to be paid in full at the time of booking 

6)  Personalised bookings are non refundable but can be postponed to another date if require and 48 hours notice is given. 

7)  Any bookings made within 1 week of the occasion date require payment at the time of booking. 

8)  Deposits taken for frames etc will be refunded 24 hours after return and inspection of items

9)  Any Damage to frames will result in deposit not being refunded.

10) 50% of the total balance is none refundable if order an order is cancelled 1 week before book is schedule, covering cost of products bought in 

11) 100% of the total balance paid is none refundable is order is cancelled less than a week away. 

12) If orders need to be postponed 48 hours notice is required and this is subject to availability on new date  

13) Any cancellations made by "Taylor Made Events and Costumes" due to unforeseen circumstances will receive a full refund at the point of cancellation

14) We reserve the right to supply a suitable alternative if any of your requests are out of stock.

15) Delivery charges are to be agreed at the time of booking, after we receive a full delivery address.

16) If wish to pay in installments this must be agreed at the time of booking.

17) All payments my have customer name as the reference 

18) Once an order has left us if being collected or delivered or once we have set up on site and left the decor becomes the clients responsibility and we      are not responsible for any damages to the decor. We will happily return to the venue to replace but this will be charged.

19) If a balloon does fail we request that it is returned to us to be inspected. If we do find a manufacturing fault then we will replace free of charge.

20) If the balloon is found to have been damaged such as being caught on a ring or in a door and then fails we can replace but this will be charged. 

21) Latex balloons should last for up to 12 hours if kept in the correct environment-temperatures too high or too cold will affect them and may cause          them to burst or not last as long but, this is the responsibility or the customer 

23) Foil balloons will last for up to 3 weeks if kept in the correct environment-temperatures too high or too cold will affect them and may cause them not to last as long but sadly we cannot be held responsible for the weather or the venue temperature. Foils can shrink in cold temperatures such as being moved from a car to inside but will return to normal in a warmer environment this is the responsibility or the customer 

24) For outdoor display's, we cannot guarantee how long balloons will last as the weather has a massive impact on the balloon quality and lifespan.

25) To help protect the environment we do not accept order for balloon releases

26) We take photos of all our work and these will be shared on our social media and website 24 hour after collection or delivery

27) All our photos remain the property of " Taylor Made Events and Costumes" and must not be copied or shared without prier authorisation. 

DJ Hire 

1)           YOU MUST BE 18 years OR OVER TO MAKE A BOOKING.

2)           All equipment remains the property of "Taylor Made events and Costumes".

3)           A 50% deposit that was paid at time of booking will confirm your booking and secure that date 

4)           The remaining balance must be paid on 1 week before your booking date specified 

5)           Dates can be changes at any given a minimum 1 weeks notice depending on availability and location

6)           It’s the customers responsibility to check with the venue that we are ok to DJ in there premises 

7)           Any Damaged to our equipment by your guests is your responsibility and could result in you being billed for the damages 

8)           If you require any specific songs/music playing please let us have knowledge of these in advance to avoid disappointment 

9)           If you cancel your booking at any time you will loose your deposit

10)      If you change the venue/date of your event and we are unable to attend/travel to the new venue/date, you would loose your deposit

11)      Any special requirements must be outlined to us in advance 

12)      We reserve the right to cancel you booking at any time  

13)      We are dedicated to making your events special so please let us know at any point if we can do anything
